Any Predictions?

Today Miss Seyller helped us start a science experiment. We're going to be studying properties of plants so we set up this experiment:

We put celery into water dyed with food coloring. We're going to observe what happens. I wonder what will happen? Any predictions?

    Dear Mrs. Bailey,
    I think the celery will change some color.
    I bet there will be a horde of people
    by the counter to see the celery.
    I wonder what this has to do with sorting chateristics.
